One of the most important things about GTD is
getting things off your mind and into a trusted system. Another idea
that goes along with that is the idea of only seeing what you need to
see when you need to see it. When I'm at work, I want to be focused on
work. My new tool for keeping track of my home to-dos is Remember The Milk .
It's simple. It's very easy to install and it just does one thing: it manages your to-do list.
But not too simple. Unlike other tools I've tried, it has some of the robustness I enjoy when using Outlook's tasks. For instance, it lets you schedule a task for 2 weeks from today (and other relative dates like that).
It's available everywhere. Online and off-line (using Google Gears ), cell phones (including Blackberrys), iGoogle, Twitter, and Google Calendar.
Google just needs to buy them.
Worth checking out.

Hey Craig. Glad to see you are using RTM now. I've also found Nozbe to be quite effective. It is build specifically for GTD so you get real linkages between your projects and your actions and you get contexts as first class citizens, but is not nearly as usable or feature rich as RTM. Also, I did a short screencast on RTM in case folks want to try before they buy. :-)

I was planning on posting this next week on my blog, but have you combined Jott with RememberTheMilk yet? It is life changing. You set up the email inbox for RTM as a contact in jott. Volia! You can dictate new task items from your phone while you are on the run! AWESOME!
Here is a screencast that explains it:
